A 50-square-meter width land behind the Senen Sub-district office Central Jakarta, turned into an urban farming by planting various vegetables, namely kale, lettuce, and pakcoy.

"We want to make empty lands around the office's greener and productive," said Senen Sub-district Development Economic Section Head, Ading, Thursday (4/18).
Meanwhile, one of the land caretakers, Widodo expressed that its planting uses traditional and modern methods.
"We use 12 vertiminaponic shelves for planting kale," he told.
It also aims to examples and means of education to the people.
"Locals can still utilize the limited land to do reforestation, especially by intensifying the planting of productive crops," he stated.
