30 students from different high schools in West Jakarta attend at West Jakarta Art Training Art Building, Kompleks Persada Sayang, Rawa Buaya, Cengkareng to practice Gambang Kromong.

"Gambang Kromong is Betawi traditional orchestra that is not so popular among people today. But I want to preserve this Betawi music by learning to play it," said Ridwan Malik Akbar, one of SMA Karya Isabel students, Cengkareng who attend in this music practice, Saturday (4/13).

Gambang Kromong coach, Agung mentioned, his side will teach students to play Gambang Kromong until 10 days ahead.

"I hope they can continue to preserve Gambang Kromong in the future," he expressed.
