A 175-meter length massive cube is installed on the north side Beach of Lancang Besar Island, Pari Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands. 

"It aims to hold the beach from abrasion. Actually we need around 3,756 units to optimize it by involving 17 officers," disclosed Thousand Islands Water Resources Sub-agency Head, Ahmad Saiful, Monday (4/8). 

Its installation has been ongoing since last month.

"And it's hoped to be finished this week," he hoped.
