Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Department provides free coral and mangrove seedlings for communities who want to use it for coral farming and mangrove planting.

Jakarta KPKP Department's Marine Conservation and Aquaculture Center Head, Sartono explained, individual, communities, or environmental organizations who are interested to get mangrove or coral seedlings for free can send their information including name, address, number of requested seedlings, and the purpose to KPKP Department's email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
"We only receive submission until end of April 2019. Our current stock is around 7,000 mangrove seedlings and 500 coral seedlings. Moreover, we also provide free seedlings transport service to Tidung Island and Payung Island," he informed, Friday (3/29).
He hopes this service can encourage more people to plant mangrove and coral reef thus coastal and sea ecosystems can be preserved.
"This program is made to increase communities involvement in preserving the nature. As humans, we must care and be responsible for our environment," he asserted.
