Jakarta Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Trade (KUKMP) Agency along with Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), signed a memorandum of cooperation on Integrated Entrepreneurship Development (PKT).
Its signing was conducted by Jakarta KUKMP Agency Head, Adi Ariantara along with IPB Business School Dean, Noer Azam Achsani at City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta.
Economic Bureau Assistant, Sri Hayati acknowledged that it is to follow up a memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that was signed by Jakarta Anies Baswedan and IPB Rector, Arif Satria on January 21, 2019.
"IPB will be involved in training and counseling residents who join in PKT and can evaluate them, as well as give input on this program," he expressed, after the signing of memorandum of cooperation, Thursday (3/21).
Jakarta KUKMP Agency Head, Adi Ariantara added that the IPB business school has the capacity and experience that can help and provide a theoretical and practical description of the targets for achieving PKT that have been set by Jakarta Provincial Government.
"We have expert people to give training towards prospective business actors," he stressed.
In the near future, his school is about to open business training and become a mentor for the PKT companion in every sub-district.
"We want the PKT to continue to grow and prosper the residents,” he said.
