Citizens living in RT 08/02, Kenari Urban Village, Senen, Central Jakarta are happy with the construction of a 6.7-meter-long water channel on Jalan Jambrut, Block III.

No wonder, its existence has smoothened water flow from house channels toward secondary channels along Jalan Kramat Raya. 

"This channel size is quite large and completed with a control tank which is able to accommodate water in large quantities," expressed Kenari Urban Village RT 08/02 Chairperson, Christina Mocodompis, Monday (3/11).

Initially the channel was made of 3-inch paralon. Thus it was easily blocked and triggers inundation when it rains.

"Surely we'll maintain it well by not littering the channel," he stressed.
