Until February 2019, Seribu Islands Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Sub-department has issued 6,588 Children Identity Cards (KIA)s.

Thousand Islands Dukcapil Sub-department Head, Rosnany conveyed, those KIAs are given to 0-16 years old children through direct requests, Dukcapil service in schools, and door-to-door integrated services.
"We have issued 6,588 KIAs or 73 percent from total target 9,025 children in Thousand Islands. We are optimistic to reach this year's target with this achievement," she mentioned, Thursday (2/28).
KIAs are mostly given to children through Dukcapil service in schools from early childhood education (PAUD), elementary schools (SD), junior high schools (SLTP), and senior high schools (SLTA). In detail, this service has been conducted in SDN 01, SLTP Untung Jawa Island, SDN 01 Harapan Island, SDN 02 Pari Island, SDN 02 Lancang Island of Pari Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands.
