It is noted that around 19 water and connecting channels, which spread in seven urban villages in West Jakarta, have been drained since early January until February 26.

Grogol Petamburan Sub-district Water Resources Executing Unit Head, Yusuf Kasim said the total channel drained reaches 7,687 meters length.
"We managed to pick up 1,531 cubic meters of mud by using 91,850 sacks," he stated, Wednesday (2/27).
Thus far draining in four urban villages is still being focused, starting from connecting channel at Jalan Daan Mogot, Tanjung Duren Utara Urban Village, connecting channel at Jalan Anyar Raya, Wijayakusuma, connecting channel at Jalan Pakuwon, and channel in RW 07 Jelambar Baru, as well as channel in Grogol Urban Village.
"It is to follow up on citizen complaints and the results of the 2019 urban village Musrenbang to anticipate inundation," he said.
