A number of facilities and infrastructures in the Muara Angke Port, Penjaringan, North Jakarta will be added in the near future. 

Its additional includes construction of terminal building, ticketing building, connecting corridor, cargo building, as well as access road and parking lot.

Jakarta Transportation Agency's Shipping Section Head, Renny Dwi Astuti said that it is done to optimize sea transportation service from and to Thousand Islands to meet the Sea Freight Service Standards.

"We want to improve the comfort, safety and security of residents who use sea transportation modes from the port of Muara Angke," she expressed, Tuesday (2/26).

To realize it, she already has a budget of Rp 73 billion from this year's City Budget (APBD).

"It is still under auction and will be re alized in the upcoming May," he said.
