Jakarta Council (DPRD)'s Special Committee (Pansus) intensifies its review on Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 15/2010 about Street Lighting Tax (PPJ).

Jakarta DPRD's PPJ Pansus Head, Santoso plans to summon Jakarta Taxation and Retribution Agency (BPRD) in the meeting thus this regulation could be reviewed more clearly and detail.

"We will invite Jakarta BPRD to attend on our meeting thus our review can be more clearly and detail," he mentioned, Monday (2/11).

He assessed, BPRD should be involved in this review to explore about mechanism and rules of the articles that are about to be amended in the regulation, especially that relates about changes in tax rates imposition with classification system (cluster).

"BPRD proposes street lighting tax increase with cluster system. We will review it further about its mechanism together with BPRD," he said.
