Approaching Imlek (Chinese New Year) tomorrow, the flower seller's earnings in Rawa Belong Market, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta feels better sales in just a matter of days.
"It has been seen since last month which reached by Rp 406 million. Until today, its amount increases to Rp 1.13 billion," said Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Department Head, Darjamuni, Monday (2/4).
To increase its earnings, he expressed, the seller is holding tuberose bazaar that has been ongoing since February 1-4.
"This event was purely their idea, and we provided 20 additional booths," he told.
Agricultural Product Promotion and Certification Center Head, Wati Mutia added that many people also buy various other flowers in coincide with the bazaar.
"Flowers that are in demand like orchid, casablanca, rose, daisies, dementia, and chrysanthemum," he stated.
