Sooner or later, North Jakarta Mayor, Syamsudin Lologau is about to launch the Muara Baru Modern Fish Market, Pluit Urban Village, Penjaringan, which is one of North Jakarta's coastal tourist destinations.

"Tourists can enjoy panoramic views of the coastal sea while shopping in the market. Moreover, its location is very reachable," said Lologau, when he attended in the commemoration of the Indonesian Fishery Company's 29th anniversary, at the Muara Baru Modern Fish Market, Sunday (1/27).

Indonesian Fishery Company Director President, Risyanto Suanda explained that improvement continues to be intensified, including public service.

"This project is one of the government assignments, which is the company's main agenda," he expressed.

Thus far the market revitalization process is almost done and is awaiting inauguration from Ministry of Maritime and Fishery.

"Herein we have white market, dry market, fresh market, frozen fish, processed fish, culinary and supporting trader. The market itself has 900 kiosk on the first floor and 120 units on the second floor," he told.

As for the information, the anniversary event which takes theme fish is filled by various activities such as, fun run 4K, carnival, coloring competition for kindergarten and elementary students, etc.
