s officially handed over by the Social Affairs Minister, Agus Gumiwang to Anies coincides with Children's Jamboree Ceria Indonesia, at Sate building, Bandung, West Java, Wednesday (11/28).Anies acknowledged that Jakarta Provincial Government continues to provide guidance to street kids to be able to live independently.
"We do a guidance program. In fact, until the age of 18 years, there is still guidance thus they can learn well, can live independently," he expressed, as quoted by an official account of facebook, Anies Baswedan," Thursday (11/29).
According to him, it is a reflection of the city government's commitment thus all kids in Jakarta have a better future.
"Hopefully the efforts we have made to help street kids. They can reach their dreams, and become individuals with character and independence," he stated.
As for the information, Anies is the only governor in Indonesia who won the award. Meanwhile, nine other awards were obtained by nine mayors and regents.
