Around 30 trees with various types are planted alongside the Ciliwung River inspection roads in Cikoko Urban Village, Pancoran, South Jakarta.

South Jakarta Deputy Mayor, Arifin stated that it is aimed to welcome the 2018 Indonesian Tree Planting Day and is part of the corporate social responsibility program of one of the BUMNs.
"We make sure that this is a very positive activity. This is part of preserving the environment for our earth to be better in the future," he expressed, Wednesday (11/27).
Types of trees planted are Jamblang, Buni, Kecapi, Ceremai, Menteng, Sawo Manila, Kemang, Cempedak, and Gandaria.
In addition to reforestation and preventing river abrasion, planting trees is also to remind again of the types of trees that are already scarce in Jakarta.
"If we maintain well, we will get the goodness," he stated.
