According to him, they have been very swift in cleaning up trash from the upstream area that enters the sluice gate.
"I was at the Manggarai Sluice Gate, precisely at 10.45 PM. We see the trash has started to clean," he expressed, when he did sudden inspection at the Manggarai Sluice Gate, Wednesday (11/14).
To pick trash, the Environment Dept. has sent 50 units of dump truck to the location.
"To the people, don't litter. Because the trash can trigger flooding," he stated.
He added that the work operational at the location lasts 24 hours, especially for monitoring water levels.
"If the water level is above normal, it must be anticipated immediately. I want the th
em to make sure everything runs well," he stated.
