Central Jakarta Environment (LH) Sub-dept. socializes residents regarding waste management by installing banners in public facilities, school buildings, and government offices.

"Almost 300 banners are installed to encourage residents to reduce plastic waste and build waste banks," stated Maspud, Central Jakarta LH Sub-dept.'s Community Role and Legal Compliance (PMPH) Section Head, Tuesday (10/24).
According to him, this socialization was carried out to implement Jakarta Regulation (Perda) No. 3/2013 regarding Waste Management.
"Our target is to reduce around 20 percent waste each day by recycling and processing it into compost," he explained.
He conveyed, currently North Jakarta has 200 waste banks. 161 of 200 waste
b anks are actively operated until now.
