Around 70 PPSU personnel under Pondok Bambu Urban Village, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta are deployed to clean the East FLood Canal (KBT) passing through in the area, Monday (10/15).

It is still in a series of grebek sampah program held by BBWSCC.

By using simply tools, those personnel are seen swift to clean up from Cipinang Indah Bridge until the Twin Towers on Jalan Kolonel Sugiono.

Pondok Bambu Urban Village Head, Angga Sastra Amidjaya stated that it is carried out, the area is strewn by wild plants. It will run until Tuesday (10/16) tomorrow.

"Besides educating citizens, it also aims to maintain the environment cleanliness and the beauty of the city," he stated.

Hopefully locals were also participated to treat the KBT. At least they do not throw garbage into KBT or on cliffs and inspection roads.
