Seribu Islands Regent, Husein Murad submits Basic Safety Training Certificate for Motorsailer (BST-KLM) symbolically to Panggang Island resident who has done the training. Motorsailer is a domestic shipping fisheries vessel which is used in Indonesian Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).

"This training is done through cooperation with Seribu Islands Regency and Jakarta Sailing College (STIP)," he mentioned, Thursday (9/20).

According to him, there are 115 residents who have completed their training and passed on evaluation. It means they are capable to sail the boat and recognized internationally. "Congratulation and I hope this achievement can be useful. We will continue to hold this training in other islands," he conveyed.  

Meanwhile, Abu Rizki (27) a Panggang Island resident stated, he welcomes Basic Safety Training for Motorsailer (BST-KLM) because most residents in Seribu Islands are fishermen.

"This training is very helpful. It is the absolute requirement to sail a boat," h e mentioned.
