Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, released the Asian Games torch relay in the morning to continue the journey to a number of areas in Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, North Jakarta and Seribu Islands.

It was attended and witnessed by City DPRD Chairman, Prasetio Edi Marsudi, a number of SKPD leaders, and INASGOC Secretary, Eris Herryanto.

"This morning we gathered in this place to witness the release of the Asian Games torch relay to a number of areas in Jakarta," he stated, Thursday (8/16).

Anies expressed his grateful and appreciation to all parties involved to enliven the torch relay. By so, the Asian Games fever is increasingly felt by all levels of people.

"I officially released the torch relay from the City Hall," he stated.
