These fleets will operate once a week on Sunday mornings and evenings
Around four road sweepers and three compactor trucks are deployed to clean the roads and sidewalks that will be passed by the 2018 Asian Games athletes and officials.
"We sent them to suck up dust and trash and cleaning those roads and sidewalks," expressed Edi Mulyanto, Head of West Jakarta Environment Sub-dept., Monday (8/6).
They will be alerted at a number of crossing points, including Jalan S Parman, Tomang, and Grogol GOR area, as a place to practice volleyball athletes.
"These fleets will operate once a week on Sunday mornings and evenings. We also deploy 50 janitors to clean and sweep the roads and sidewalks," he stated.
