South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. Head, Christianto disclosed it has been a joint decision in the meeting. In the meeting, the car free day would be stopped during Ramadan and re-held after Eid ul Fitr.

"We have decided to be stop it during Ramadan," he expressed, Wednesday (5/16).

His side will conduct socialization to the people through urban village in relation to the removal of the car free day. Thus the people can find out about the policy.

"We immediately socialize it to the people. Local urban village heads will sent notification letter through RT and RW," he told.

As for the information, car free day in South Jakarta is usually held along Jalan Mampang Prapatan Raya until Jalan Warung Jati Barat (intersection of Pejaten Village) Warung Buncit .
