City Tax and Levy Board (BPRD) and Polda Metro Jaya have officially opened Samsat outlet at Mangga Dua Pagi Market, Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan, North Jakarta.
" In Mangga Dua, there are some shopping centers. We're optimistic it can be accessible to many people"
Robert Lumbuan Tobing, Head of PKB and BBNKB Unit said it is conducted after passing through strategic location considerations.
It is the fourth outlet that officially operates in North Jakarta. Previously, there were three outlets in Artha Gading Mall, Penjaringan Sub-district, and Pluit Village.
"Herein we provide annual vehicle tax payment. All this time it is effective enough and accessible to many people," he told.
Along the first quarter of 2018, tax revenue from three outlets reached about Rp 26 billion. By so, he expects the opening of outlets in the market would optimally increase the tax ratio of motor vehicles.
"In Mangga Dua, there are some shopping centers. We're optimistic it can be accessible to many people," he asserted.
Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Unit Directorate, Sr. Comr. Yusuf added the outlet opening is a form of realization of the service approach to people. It is realized over the cooperation of its agencies with related institutions such as BPRD, Bank DKI and shopping center management.
"This is a result of communication, coordination and good collaboration between agencies," he said.
