snawa Adji, Head of Jakarta Environment Dept., the net will be installed in Mangrove Forest of Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) in conjunction with the routine cleaning around the Jakarta Bay."We do this to prevent garbage from entering the mangrove forest," he expressed, Monday (3/26).
Technically, garbage that netted will be directly pulled by the officers, without damaging the mangrove forest ecosystem.
"After this, similar action will also be done gradually in other mangrove forest areas," he stated.
