The city is committed the teachers to get decent welfare and livelihood

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan intends to improve teachers' welfare in the capital city, including, for teachers who served in the madrasah (Islamic school).

He acknowledged, the city has formed a team headed by City Secretary, Saefullah to arrange allowances for teachers. In addition, this team is also assigned to conduct a cross-ministerial coordination, as there are teachers in Jakarta are under the auspices of different ministries.

"The city is committed the teachers to get decent welfare and livelihood," he expressed, when he acted as a resource person in Seminar of Education Association of Indonesian Madrasah Teachers (PGMI) for Jakarta DPW, at Haji Pondok Gede Dormitory Building, East Jakarta, Wednesday (2/28).

Aside that, he also advised hundreds of madrasah teachers to create a fun learning system.

Those teachers should also improve their ability to teach.

"Let us realize the world of education that refers to the formation of character, multiply the basic literacy and sharpen the competence," he uttered.
