PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya (FSTJ) tries its best to ensure safe rice stock in Jakarta. One of its efforts is to buy 7,000 tons of rice from Logistic Agency (Bulog) every week.

"Purchasing 7,000 tons of rice every week is one of our efforts to ensure rice stock in Jakarta remains full," said Arief Prasetyo, PT. FSTJ Director, Tuesday (2/20).
He added, his side buys rice stock from Bulog with Rp 8,000 per kilogram.
Trade Minister, Enggartiasto Lukita said, currently there are 10,000 tons of rice shipped through Tenau Port, Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). Then, 41,000 tons from Tanjung Priok Port and 6,000 tons from Merak Port. Loading process needs around one week to finish.

, those rice will be used to maintain rice stock and control stability of rice price in regional areas," he conveyed.
