Around 358 two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles owners were netted in the raid held on Jalan Pahlawan Kalibata, Pancoran, South Jakarta. They were netted due to unpaid vehicle tax (PKB).
Hopefully the raid could give deterrent effect and people will be more aware to pay their vehicle tax
South Jakarta PKB-BBNKB Service Unit Head, Khairil Anwar mentioned that 43 joint personnel from PKB-BBNKB Service Unit, Police, and Dishub were involved in the operation.
"From 358 netted vehicles, 72 out of them are ticketed, because the owners can't pay the tax at the location," he informed, Wednesday (12/6).
Then the rest of vehicles had paid off the tax with total money by Rp 225,737,100. Those were dominated by two-wheeled vehicle owners.
"Hopefully the raid could give deterrent effect and people will be more aware to pay their vehicle tax," he conveyed.
