100 students and teachers participated in fire handling training at SDN Kapuk Muara 01 yard, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, Wednesday (11/8).

Besides theory, participants were also trained to handle fire.

"We want to give fire handling skill in this training, both for students and teachers," said Satriadi Gunawan, Head of North Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept.

According to him, fire cases could be minimized by doing socialization frequently to schools and communities. Because people who get this training will be more aware.

"We hope we could minimize fire cases in North Jakarta by holding socialization frequently," he closed.
