The City Administration Budgetary Team (TAPD) ensures the proposed 2018 General Budget Policies and Provisional Budget Ceiling and Priorities (KUA-PPAS) has accommodated the vision mission of the Governor and Deputy Governor.

One of them is Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus program that is allocated to the budget by Rp 3.9 trillion.

"Besides SMA, we will also give the card service to children up to 21 years old," said Saefullah, Chairman of Jakarta TAPD, at City Council building, Monday (11/6).

He assessed, with the policy, government education aid can also be distributed to non-formal school students, like children who are educated in the tutoring (bimbel).

"The program is also for our children who have no formal schooling opportunities," he stated.

He added, it is also targeting children of Early Childhood Education Program (PAUD) aged five to six.

"This is not just for the middle-upper class, but also lower class," he stressed.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Education Dept. Head, Sopan Adrianto is committed to improve the quality of education by optimizing the use of 2018 APBD.

"We have to start by serving as well as possible. By so there is hope for education in Jakarta can run well," he uttered.
