West Jakarta Tourism and Culture Sub-dept. is scheduled to hold art training at 20 new RPTRAs.
Training that will be given is painting, dance and marawis
Linda Erniany, Head of West Jakarta Tourism and Culture Sub-dept. stated his sub-dept. is currently preparing trainers and conducting surveys of local residents around the RPTRA sites.
"We prepare the trainer and will survey the interest in advance thus art training in RPTRA can be beneficial for the residents, especially children," he expressed, Thursday (10/26).
Her party has held Betawi art and culture training at 26 RPTRAs that have been in 2015 and 2016.
"Training that will be given is painting, dance and marawis (traditional percussion ensemble). It is participated by tens of children," he told.
She added, it is very useful for children to transfer their talents and interests while minimizing negative activities such as brawl and drug abuse.
