City Council Commission D asks related SKPD to improve the socialization about being caught in trash littering act (OTT) operation in car free day (HBKB).

Commission D Chairman, Iman Satria hopes this socialization can improve public awareness to not littering the environment.

"Its socialization needs to be improved thus people can understand that they will be sanctioned if littering," he said, Thursday (9/28).

Meanwhile, Jakarta Environment Dept. Secretary, Yusiono Supalal stated, his side has also socialized it through videotron car.

"Besides socialization, we also give fine directly to those who caught littering," he explained.

He added, his side also builds posts along Jl. Sudiman-Jl. MH. Thamrin and deploys 200 personnel to implement Perda No. 3/2013 about Waste Management.

"Until now, total fines received during OTT op eration in Jakarta has reached Rp 65 million," he closed.
