No more cable excavation projects that damage the sidewalks
Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat revealed, sidewalks that have been repaired must be maintained well.
According to him, Jakarta Provincial Government continues to develop sidewalk in order to create comfort and safety of the pedestrian.
"No more cable excavation projects that damage the sidewalks," he expressed, Thursday (7/27).
He added there have been many good sidewalk incidents but damaged due to the impact of cable excavation projects.
"Excavation project must get permission from us first," he stressed.
As known, the city had revitalized sidewalk as long as 50 km last year. And this year, it will be done up to 150 km.
Some sidewalks that have been revitalized are located on Jalan Jati Baru, Central Jakarta. They will be a pilot project.
