A 200-meter length sidewalk on Jalan Warung Jati Barat, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta is widened in order to provide a sense of comfort to the sidewalk pedestrians.

South Jakarta Facility and Infrastructure Sub-Section Head, Asti Nihana said the sidewalk that has 1.5 meters width will be widened up to 2 meters.

Prior to widening, her side also coordinates with South Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept. to cut off some of the plants on the sidewalk.
"It was once an urban park and also filled by tree. So we also coordinate with Jakarta Forestry Dept. to cut down some of the trees, not all," he said.
