Edi (40), soto and mie ayam (chicken noodles) merchant, admitted that his turnover reaches Rp 500 thousands on week days and Rp 1 million on weekend.
"On the first day of Eid and last Tuesday, it reached more than Rp 2 million," he said, Thursday (6/29).
Similar thing was also expressed by Kurdi (46) who sells chicken and fried rice. He said that during Eid holiday, his turnover reached Rp 1.5 million.
"On normal days, it is just around Rp 200 thousand and on weekend reaches Rp 800 billion," he explained.
According to him, the more visitors who come to Monas, the more profits that can be earned by merchants.
"Like on last Monday. Monas was closed, merchants also had a few buyers," he said.
Meanwhile, Tuti (40), one of souvenir merchants stated, her turnover during Eid holiday is around Rp 3-5 million per day.
"My income is bigger compared to normal day by Rp 2 million ," she closed.
