BWSCC Head, Teuku Iskandar said, these two reservoirs will be constructed to reduce water flow from Katulampa Dam into Ciliwung River.

"We predicted these two reservoirs could reduce 13 percent of water which flow to Ciliwung River," he said at City Hall, Tuesday (5/30).

He also added, according to joint meeting, reservoirs construction project is taken over by his side, from its land acquisition to construction. Previously, reservoirs land acquisition was handled by Jakarta Provincial Government.

"Now, all works become central government responsibility. Recently, we are still inventorying land that will be freed, both in Ciawi and Sukamahi," he closed.
