We give appreciation, as it is very supporting Jakarta Provincial Government programs in realizing greening in the city
5,000 trees were planted in some areas in East Jakarta, Saturday (5/20). It was done in Cempaka Park, Cilangkap Park and Cipayung Park. Besides that, 1,000 parrot and gold fish seedlings were also spread in the area.
Assistant for East Jakarta Economic, Development and Environment, Syofian Taher said it was cooperation with private parties through corporate social responsibility (CSR).
"We give appreciation, as it is very supporting Jakarta Provincial Government programs in realizing greening in the city," he stated.
Jakarta Forestry Dept. Head, Djafar Muhlisin hoped, it could also be done in other places.
"We'll also do maximal to acquire lands to be used as green open space (RTH)," he stated.
It is also to welcome Day of Biodiversity on May 22, 2017.
