Chili plants planted in land owned by Jakarta Provincial Government in Ciangir, Tangerang, Banten, will be harvested for the first time in June.

Jakarta Secretary, Saefullah stated, from 2.5 hectare of used land, just 1.5 hectare is ready to be harvested next month.
"I already checked that chili planting in Ciangir have
good results," he said, Thursday (5/11).Meanwhile, Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Dept. Head, Diah Meidianti said, in harvest condition, usually one plant can produce 800 grams to 1 kilograms of chili.
"This chili cannot be harvested immediately. It can be harvested six to eight times within four months," she explained.
He added that currently there are around 14 farmers who manage the land and plant the chili in Ciangir.
"The farmers also offered a profit-sharing scheme by City," he closed.
