Tourists who visit Jakarta, both local and foreign, keep increasing every year.
" We will optimize tourists with business and vacation purposes"
It is noted in 2015 the number of foreign tourist who visited Jakarta was 2.3 million and 30.05 million for local tourist. In 2016 went up to 2.5 million for foreign tourist and 32.6 million for local tourist.
Jakarta Tourism and Culture Dept. (Disparbud) Secretary, Jeje Nurjaman said with the rising trend, he optimists that in 2017 the number of foreign tourist who visit Jakarta will increase.
He said in this year Jakarta Disparbud is targeting foreign tourist visit could reach 3 million people.
"Target in 2017 is 3 million foreign tourists visitor. We will optimize tourists with business and vacation purposes," he closed.
