Local Health Center (Puskesmas) prepared 12 medical personnel and 2 units of ambulance to assist flood victims in Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, Makasar Sub-district, East Jakarta who needed medical services.

" Stand-by medical personnel are doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and ambulance operators"

Makasar Sub-district Puskesmas Head, Herisianto Tyahya, said medical post will be located in refugee's shelter, Borobudur University's Masjid.

"Stand-by medical personnel are doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and ambulance operators," he said, Monday (2/20).

He added medical post was opened since Sunday (2/19). It is noted that there were 34 residents came to be treated. Most of them suffered respiratory infections and itching.

"For severe illness or emergency, we will take patients to the nearest hospital immediately," he closed.
