This is because many PKL open stall on sidewalk that has been widened. Whereas it is addressed to the pedestrian.
Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono disclosed that he had had a report about PKL in Tanah Abang began rampant, especially on sidewalk.
"PKL in Tanah Abang will be our priority. They have used public facility. It's for pedestrian, instead of PKL or parking place," he said, at City Hall, Tuesday (1/3).
He assessed sidewalk was widened to give convenience for the pedestrian.
"We widened the sidewalk due to part of residents' request. Thus they are safe from the passing vehicle," he stressed.
He appeals locals to report if they seePKL open stall and disturb public order in the field.
"Report it via qlue. We will follow up iy by sending personnel to the location," he finished.
