Our duty is to plant and beautify, thus can add the city's lungs

"Our duty is to plant and beautify, thus can add the city's lungs. And its main function is for green open space," said Muhammad Iqbal, Head of South Jakarta Park and Cemetery Sub-dept, Friday (9/9).

According to him, piles of red soil is used as a growing medium in locations derived from dismantled fictitious tomb of Tanah Kusir TPU. "The soil is from Tanah Kusir, which is an ex-fictitious tomb. For the plant, we take it from our garden so we save our budget," he stated.

Meanwhile, the problem is there are still plenty of floor wall or foundation that covers almost the entire land so it must be done manually.

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com, there have been 24 kamboja trees planted on such land. Aside that, a number of trees are also ready to be planted, such as glodakan tiang, bintaro, anjuang kribo and tubers.
