North Jakarta Sub-dept. of Tax Service attached stickers at seven delinquent taxpayers, Monday (9/5). The taxpayers are five restaurants, one parking, and one hotel.

North Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Tax Service, Selkians yah, said total tax arrears from the seven taxpayers is Rp 800 million.

“There were 14 delinquent taxpayers with total arrears Rp 1.9 billion. But some of them have paid the arrears,” he said.

The sticker attachment, he added, is form of shock therapy for delinquent taxpayers. Before attaching the stickers, his side has given several warning letters.

Delinquent taxpayers have 10 days to pay off the arrears, or their license will be revoked.
