Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama warned the sanitation and park freelancer to work maximally. This is because, until now, there are still found garbage scattered on the streets and sidewalks.
" They work eight hours every day. Yet they spend more time for relaxing rather than working"
"They work eight hours every day. Yet they spend more time for relaxing rather than working. It happens when we send street sweeper car on the highway," he stated, at City Hall, Monday (6/20).
According to him, those are supposed to clean garbage without having to see the zoning work. Thus each of them is not throwing the responsibility in the field.
"They also have a right to report to headmen if there are unruly freelancers. Don't just be silent, just because it is not your zone," he asserted.
Basuki expected, besides roadside and median road, the all Public Cemeteries (TPU) in Jakarta can also be free of garbage. They were also asked to synergize in keeping the environment clean.
