In order to stabilize staple foods price in Seribu Islands, PD Pasar Jaya will hold market operation. Staple foods will be distributed directly to the island.

Arif Nasrudin, PD Pasar Jaya’s Director, admitted his side still inventorying the staple foods needed by Seribu Island people.

“PD Pasar Jaya is ready to supply the stock or request from the regent. Market operation is held to stabilize the price,” he said, Monday (6/6).

At this moment, his side is holding market operation at 20 locations. The other 153 locations will be the next.

“Our team will be spread to Seribu Islands also to distribute the staple foods,” he closed.
