As many as 500 Satpol PP personnel are deployed in South Jakarta during long holiday this week. Together with army/police and Dept. of Transportation, they will standby at tourism areas.

“It’s important since two religious commemorations are held in a row. We need to prevent unwanted things,” said Tri Kurniadi, South Jakarta Mayor, Tuesday (5/3).

He appealed the personnel to dispel PMKS at tourism areas. Night entertainment places and drugs distribution must be also monitored.

“You can act strictly, but no physical violence,” he closed.
