Jakarta Dept. of Transportation is about to repair four damaged pedestrian bridges (JPO) this year. It is aimed to create convenience and safety for pedestrian. Those four JPOs are in Pasar Minggu, Jalan Pemuda, Jalan Pramuka, and Tanjung Barat Train Station. Jakarta Head Dept. of Transportation, M Akbar said on Monday (4/14).
" We repair four damaged JPOs this year"
Akbar disclosed that mostly bridges have damage on the roof and its track. "Especially for JPO in Tanjung Barat Train Station, its track can already be passed by pedestrian, but we have yet to repair its roof," he told.
As for the JPO on Jalan Pramuka has been repaired and can already be used by locals. Then for JPO on Jalan Pramuka is still under repair.
"So, we have already repaired the bridge on Jalan Pramuka. Hopefully, the repair could be completed all this year," he hoped.
