Jakarta Provincial Government reviews  to free Urban and Rural Land and Building Tax (PBB P2) for residents who have land under 100 meter square.

“We see many low economic people in Jakarta. So we try to free them from tax,” Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama said, Wednesday (2/10).

According to him, the policy will be applied next year. The law is being arranged now.

“The land is not including cluster, housing complex, and apartment,” he added.

This year, Jakarta Provincial Government gives PBB P2 tax free for those who live in flat and house under Rp 1 billion.
