"... we ask everyone coming to the event tonight to help keep Jakarta safe,"

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung sees the 212 Reunion as an opportunity for participants to reconnect and encouraged everyone to help keep the city safe and orderly.

"Therefore, we ask everyone coming to the event tonight to help keep Jakarta safe, because Jakarta is now safe and comfortable," said Pramono at the Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (2/12).

He also believes tonight's event at Monas Square, Central Jakarta, will run smoothly, as the Jakarta Government and police have granted permits and support to ensure everything goes well.

"So, I am confident when I meet the 212 Reunion committee, they will organize the event as best as possible," Pramono expressed.

The governor himself said he would attend the 212 Reunion tonight. To ensure the vent runs smoothly, the Jakarta Transportation Agency has prepared situational traffic diversions around several roads near Monas.

"Situational traffic diversions will begin at 5 PM until the event ends on December 2, 2025, on several roads near the event location," stated Syafrin Liputo, Head of Jakarta Transportation Agency.

Syafrin also advised road users to avoid affected routes and comply with the traffic adjustments.
