He hopes to complete the succession of leadership. He is believed to be able to strengthen and accelerate Jakarta towards a brighter future.
On that occasion, he also expressed his gratitude to Marullah Matali, who personally gave him a nostalgic gift in the form of a bicycle. The gift will be displayed in the Deputy Governor's office.

He also began his career as a civil servant (PNS) as a bureaucrat under the Jakarta government in 1996. After being appointed as a PNS for more than 29 years, he has served in various work units and positions until finally becoming the City Secretary.
During his tenure, he acknowledged that all achievements were the result of cooperation and support from various parties. Therefore, Marullah expressed appreciation and gratitude to all civil servants, PJLPs, P3K of Jakarta government, BUMDs, and City Council who stood by him during his duties.
"Even though I am retired, my heart still remains with the Governor, Deputy Governor, and all my friends here," he stated.
