Jakarta Provincial Government is about to control the dangling cables by implementing an Integrated Utility Network Facility (SJUT) system placed underground.

It was stated by the Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung responding to the existence of utility cables still dangling in the Setiabudi area, South Jakarta.

"I already instructed to control dangling cables in Jakarta," he said, Thursday (11/13).

Pramono explained that the arrangement of dangling cables using the SJUT system was not only run in the Setiabudi area, but also at various other points in Jakarta.

According to him, this step needs to be taken to improve the beauty of the city layout and organize the utility network which has been chaotic.

"Not only in Setiabudi, but many areas we call SJUT have begun to install underground cables," he stated.
