Satu Data Jakarta Portal is now available with updates that integrate thousands of data from various regional devices, providing accurate and accountable information.
AI used is trusted by design
This update represents the face of the Capital City through more interactive, transparent, and easily accessible data.
Jakarta Communications, Informatics, and Statistics Agency (Diskominfotik) Head, Budi Awaluddin, said the new appearance of the Satu Data Portal features Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the form of a chat service. This feature is expected to facilitate the public to obtain the data they need.
He explained, the community simply types the data they want to know, and the system will immediately display all related information.
"AI used is trusted by design, meaning it is based on official data from regional devices, not from websites or other media. The data sources are also clearly displayed so they can be accounted for," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta Government's press release, Monday (9/8).
He added that the new portal's appearance is also designed to be more attractive, with the presentation of infographics in the form of diagrams and graphs that are easy to understand.
This is also complemented with insights or additional information that provides a deeper analysis of the displayed data. For example, in health data, the top ten inpatient diseases of 2024 are shown, including regional distribution and cause analysis. In this way, the community can gain a more comprehensive understanding.
He hoped that this could strengthen transparency and accountability of the Jakarta Government, while also encouraging the realization of Jakarta as a city with good governance.
"This is a concrete step by the Jakarta Government in opening up access to information as broadly as possible to the public. We want Jakarta to be a city that is not only modern but also transparent, inclusive, and participatory," he added.
Moreover, the Satu Data Jakarta Portal can support the target of making Jakarta one of the Top 50 Global Cities by 2030 and the Top 20 Global Cities by 2045. He believes that one of the indicators toward becoming a global city is the openness of information exchange. Thereby, with accurate, complete, and reliable data, it is expected to support the achievement of these targets.
"Data is a strategic asset for development. With accurate data, government policies will be more targeted," he stated.
As information, in the initial stage, the portal displays data from six priority regional devices, namely health, education, population, MSMEs, security and order, and social affairs. The Jakarta Government aims for all regional devices to be fully integrated into this portal within the next six months.
Currently, there are approximately 4,000 data sets accessible to the general public, academics, and journalists. To facilitate access, the portal also supports two languages, namely Indonesian and English. The Satu Data Jakarra Portal can be accessed through the link https://satudata.jakarta.go.id/.
